Jiddu Krishnamurti

I am always inspired and am made to think a lot by JK's teachings, his ideas on simple things like love, nature etc. So different from other stoic points of views and so true, I am sure it would be worth your time to try reading his writings at least once in your life. If you have or if you try now, the reaction from you, I bet, is either you love his ideas or just hate them. Some get perplexed reading him and I would recommend them to give another shot.

When there is comparison, there is no love. What is love?

Where there's dependence, there's fear. Where there's fear, there's authority, there's no love.

One always runs away from loneliness and never wants to face it. Overcoming loneliness with distractions is not the cure for it. Understanding loneliness is the beginning of self-realization. As long as one is escaping from loneliness, there is no essential difference between the worship of God and addiction to alcohol.
